ALL STUDENTS MUST: Be prompt. Four tardies will count as one unexcused absence. Be seated and ready to work when class begins. Be prepared by having proper notebooks, texts, reading materials, pens, pencils, homework and whatever else is required at that class session.
MATH PROGRAM: Students at SFSS work independently through much of the math program. It is therefore absolutely vital that everyone arrive prepared for class every day. Students must have their text, their spiral notebook, a mechanical pencil and a calculator. It is very disruptive if students try to share calculators during class. Parents should expect to see math homework being done 5 nights a week – 30 minutes each night is the minimum requirement for most students. Please contact Dana Rodda if homework time is not apparent. Math tests are given each and every Friday afternoon. All students will have one hour to complete a test chosen especially for them.
